This newly released book, published by Springer, presents the results of an interdisciplinary project that developed a modular research vehicle to study technical, legal, and human-centered aspects of self-driving cars. Supported by the BMBF and shaped by an exceptional team of collaborators, the book shares insights from the FlexCAR platform and introduces its ambitious successor: the CARpulse project.
